Tail Tracker For The Cederberg Gang

hello mom! welcome home we missed you so much! melissa and mike taught us how to update our own tail tracker and we are so excited to be able to write to you. Me, leonard, is currently the only one that can type though….chessy thinks too much about what she wants to write and wants to see what everyone else is writing before she writes (kind of like how she eats), Annie can’t keep her mind on writing because she has ADD, Rico just sits there and grins and smiles the whole time and Lily is too clumsy with her legs not working right. Gus and hera figure they’ll just talk to you in person on their own terms….not yours. Cats…..go figure.

we missed you so much while you were away, but melissa and mike kept telling us that you were down there in costa rica doing great things for us and our future. we appreciate that mom. we know that the move will not be easy on any of us, but that eventually it will pay off. Rico says he can’t wait to start picking up on the local chicas. he heard that they are just walking around the streets ripe for the picking. Annie says she can’t wait to romp around in her new yard and Cheesy says she doesn’t care where she is as long as she can cuddle up to you more. Lily says she is happy because even though her legs don’t work too well she is still travelling a farther distance by the move than millions of other dogs so she’s excited.

sure we are going to miss our bother and sister gus and hera, we will always think of them, but we know that it isn’t right for them to be in a place where they are in danger and won’t be able to live out their lives the way they would want to. they also love their fancy feast too much to give it up.

anyway, melissa, mike and damon took really good care of us while you were gone. we really had a great time with all of them and they even checked on us when the earthquake hit. I was the only one scared! but after i saw all my brothers and sisters okay i calmed down.

Sorry it is so late that I am writing but our day kinda got crazy after the eathquake. I got to your house about an hour after(1pm) the shake and all the puppies and kitties were just fine. I did not stay long as our phones were ringing from clients wanting to know how all their pets were.
I got back there later for the normal feeding and all were doing well. I stayed for about 45 minutes and everyone ate well and I sat and gave them all the attention that they love to get.

Thats about it except I told them all you would be home soon. I gave out treats. They go through some amount of chicken strips but they love them.
Lily got her meds and was in great form. She has a new game now she brings me her toy and I have to play tug of war with her. If I am busy and playing on the couch with Annie and Rico she will bark until I play with her lol.

All is good! They are looking forward to you coming back and the house is in good shape. I have been telling them that Mom found a new home for them and that they should be excited. They are always happy to see us and they all are still eating so well. Hera and Gus have not missed a feeding and all around things are pretty calm. Can’t write much today, have a meeting to get to. I hope you are more relaxed and are having a good time out in Costa Rica.

Sorry that we fell off the blog wagon, but part of that was being very busy and part of that was because we didn’t have internet access at your house. Not sure why that is, but it’s probably something stupid that we couldn’t figure out.

They are all doing good as you probably already know from our email earlier today. They were very tired out pups tonight. My crowd wore out your crowd and vice versa…lol. It’s a good thing if you ask me. They’ll sleep sound tonight! They still ate and picked at their food and then just kind of chilled out on the front stoop and in the yard with us. I did a poop patrol all the way around and watered your flowers up front. I’m going to do the patch of grass in the morning (there’s one little area that doesn’t seem to get the sprinkler) and the side of the house etc. I’ve been watering your inside plants as well.

They all seem very content and are probably dying to see you. I hope you are now enjoying some of your time there now that you know you are ready and set to go!

I’M SO FRICKEN HAPPY FOR YOU!!! I just got your email and I think that it’s all fantastic. I’m sad about Gus and Hera, but you are making a good decision if you think that it won’t be safe for them. You and I both know that some cats just don’t take well to change. It will be a change to be away from you of course, but an even bigger one becoming Jungle cats. When are you coming back now that you are cutting it short? I’d like to have the house ready for you when you return

The gang is all doing just awesome! They are having fun, playing ALOT and eating ALOT. Gus and Hera have both been there for dinner every night and when I spilled some of the dog kibble, I caught Gus eating it! A cat that eats dog food….go figure. Only Gus I guess. Lily is still getting up on all fours and constantly plays and smiles. She’s really doing good. Annie is always on top of me, Rico is running around with a big grin on his face, Leonard is having fun barking at people that go by and Cheese Louise is just having a blast playing with everyone. I’m sure they miss you alot and will FREAK out when they see you.

Hello Lisa.
I hope all is well down there.

All is well at home. I did get a bit of a scare when I got to your house. Leonard did not run to greet me as he usualy does. I found him on the bed barking his head of. I just thought he woke up from a nap. So I went about my chores feeding the Kitties, giving Lily her meds and getting the puppies dinner ready.
Leonard was still barking and I did everything to get him out. Treats didn’t work or his dinner either. It looked like he was afraid to get down but I said that coudn’t be.
I called Damon and he told me to make sure the stool was next to the bed so as he could get down. LOL
He got down straight away and thanked me with kisses all night.
All the rest of the puppies are fine and the kitties are eating well. Gus was there when I went in and Hera just arrived as I was about to leave.

So all is well.

All is going really good at home. Everyone seems really happy, no hunger strike in sight and both kittie weasels are always there ready to eat too. They do miss you, but they are getting by pretty happily despite you not being there. Leonard always looks for you in the front yard, but he’ll come back and play with us too. He’s such a handsome man!

I happened to notice a bit of junk mail that came in this past week. Maybe Rolando trying to be a smart ass? It’s not much, just a circular and I guess it could have come from someone just passing by, but I found it kind of interesting Otherwise all is quiet. Not even a peep out of your asshole neighbor there either. The flowers are getting watered by Damon, I do a poop patrol every other day (if not every day). All is well!

Hope things are picking up down there in the land of sunshine a pura vida!

All of the monkeys are doing excellent! They miss you of course, but otherwise they are doing just fine. Not much time to write tonight. Haven’t even gotten a chance to sit down until now in front of the computer. I’m sure you know how that is!

Anyway, everyone is great and we are looking forward to doing the overnights this coming week. I told the whole gang to send out good vibes so that you’ll find a place that they will all love (you too of course!). They are eating well, playing often and being loved and pet more than they could handle.

All the crew are doing really well! They just love when we pull up outside. They know all of our cars apparently.

Anyway, Leonard was extra excited. Had to calm him down a bit, he really loves to play with Mike. Cheesy was her sweet little self, Annie was clamoring for attention and Rico just waddled around smiling away. Lily has been getting up on all fours and walking more and more! She’s able to do it longer and longer too. At first she would do it only a few steps then lay down to rest, but now it’s more like 6 steps. She sometimes looks like a bunny rabbit when she’s doing it, but otherwise she’s getting balance and everything. I’m so proud of her!

Gus and Hera both showed up tonight too. They’ve been sticking close this time, always out back or in the side yard hanging out. They are all eating extremely well, that new food is a hit! We’ve been alternating cans as asked so they don’t get bored.

Hope things start looking up for you both out there. I know that it may not be immediate, but I’m sure you will be able to find a place that suits everyone and one that you like. I’m sending good vibes your way!

Hello Lisa.

Sorry we did not get to post yesterday. I seen you were on the site today. It was late last night when we got back from your house. We got a flat tire and just lost track of time.
All the puppies are doing great. We both took care of them the last two nights. They love that. Both Kitties turned up every night are are doing great.
Leonard is eating like a horse. He does spend his time sitting outside waiting for you. All the littles do not seem to be upset at all and love to see us come visit as they get to run around like crazy.
Lily is doing great. She spends alot of time playing with a squirrel I think it is. I done a bit of Irish Dancing for them and Rico goes nuts he thinks it great fun. Then Leonard came runnign for my feet(I should have known)

We will be both there again tomorrow.
