Tail Tracker For Calli Beau and Mackie

Well, it was the last visit and everything this time around went perfect! Never saw Cosmo even once, but I did see Chloe again today and gave her some love and fresh water.

Callie seems to somehow keep tipping over that little table by your front door so don’t be surprised if it seems like it’s blocking you. That happened to me today, but no worries….no problems getting in at all.

I took out the tuna from the freezer and put it in the fridge as requested so they’ll get their treat tomorrow. Everything just seems to be great!

I hope you had a wonderful time in Las Vegas :) I didn’t get a chance to make the copy of the key but I was able to leave your landlord’s copies on your table since you can lock the doorknob from the inside. Hope to see the cuties again soon!

All was quiet today at the house, Callie was on the chair and ran to say hello when I went in. She was a very happy girl and was all about attention. We hung out for a few minutes and said hello before I went and got dinner. Callie watched me closely and made sure all went well. I also topped up the dry food. Callie ate some of the wet food while I did the litter boxes.
I did not get to see any of the other Kitties. I watered the plants in both areas and gave refilled containers with fresh water again.
I got to sit with Callie again for a while, she checked out my shoes to see where I had been all day.
She sure looks happy.
I said goodbye and told her Melissa would see her tomorrow.

Callie was the only one there to say hello to me today. She was in a fun mood and was looking for lots of attention. We said hello for a few minutes and then I went and got dinner ready. No sign of Cosmo tonight I am afraid. I left the wet food down for the indoor crew and topped up the dry food. They have a favorite one again this time. Callie went straight for that while I was getting the wet food down.
I did all three Kitty litters, there is one that they use very little by the look of it. I watered both front and back plants, it was very hot the last two day but getting cooler over the weekend. I refreshed the water in the jugs and containers.
I sat with Callie for a while before I had to go and told her I would see her tomorrow.
All looks good.

Hello Aileen!

Thank you so much for being patient on the tracker. We just don’t have internet access when we do overnights. This week has been crazy! It’s been as busy if not busier than last Christmas for us which is amazing. We’re very thankful :) For the next visits we’ll be able to update it night of so you shouldn’t have to wait again for another update this string of visits.

Anyway, on to the kitties! They’re doing amazing and both Mackie & Callie are eating well. Cosmo hasn’t shown up as of yet, but you mentioned that he just likes to be around when Mackie is out (and when you’re home I suspect even more lol) so I’m not so concerned about it. I went at night both times hoping I would catch him, but no luck.

I did indeed get the key from under your mat that your landlord left. I’m going to try to make us a copy of the doorknob key over the weekend so that we don’t have to worry about it again. The deadbolt always worked in the past with a little bit of jiggling, but this time I could only get 3/4 of the key even in to the lock no matter how much I jiggled. It shouldn’t be a problem in the future.

I may not have seen Cosmo, but I did see Chloe tonight! She showed off her new little house to me. It’s so cool! I told Mike that when he visits them tomorrow he needs to check it out. Being Irish, green of course is his favorite color :) She had dry food and fresh water out so she’s been set. She did appreciate the little ear massage I gave her though.

The vitamins and mail are in and it doesn’t look like the fire inspectors were in your place, at least nothing seems to be disturbed and there were no notes left behind by your landlord so I think Mackie probably only had to endure your landlord there to check out the smoke detectors. I usually don’t try to find him because I know it scares him, but just in case I wanted to make sure he was in the house. When people come in to homes sometimes they may not notice if a cat will dart out of a door. He indeed was under the bed and safe and sound so no worries. I apologized to him for looking for him so hopefully he forgives me :)

Other than that things are great! Mike will be by to see the cuties tomorrow. I hope you’re having a blast in Vegas!

Hello Aileen,

Hope you’re having a great trip! I’m happy to report that Mackie and Callie have been eating well and seem very content. Not sure about Mackie since he still hides :( It’s a bummer because I was hoping his curiosity would get the best of him without Beau there and that he would venture out, but no such luck.

I didn’t see Cosmos today either which disappointed me! I think since he met me the other night, he’s aware that you’re away and may be staying away. Not sure why he would do that since he came in, got some love and attention from me and ate some food. I would think that would be inviting, however he hasn’t been back since that day. I call him and everything. I was there around 5pm tonight so maybe that’s too early for him. I have a sneaky suspicion that you’re right about him having a home, but being let out at night. He may just not be out at that time of the night. He was there at 6pm the other night though so we’ll see. I’m sure either way he’s fine and once you’re home he’ll be back on schedule with you. Cats have a way of knowing when people they like are around.

Anyway, all else is fantastic. The mail is in, the waters refreshed, the litters done and Callie sufficiently loved. At least for the most part as you could cuddle her all day and it still wouldn’t be enough for her :) We’ll be back tomorrow to see the crew again.

I sat with Callie for a few minutes before I got their food ready. She ate some while I topped up the dry food. They are really going for the bowl by the door, it was nearly empty again. I also did the Kitty litter and changed out the water jugs. I did not water the plants as we were promised rain. We got it about an hour ago and it is coming down heavy right now.
All looks good and Melissa will be there tomorrow, It looks like she has better luck with Cosmos.

Hello Aileen and HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!! The crew all did well today. Mackie stayed hidden so I didn’t try looking for him. Callie greeted me at the door as usual….all ready to get some love and fresh food. I called out to Cosmos hoping he would come and at first I didn’t think he would, but lo and behold! There he was meowing away at the back door. So I let him in and he ate a bit of both wet and dry food. He didn’t seem to want to leave when I had to go, but he still went willingly for the most part.

I did the waters and the litters and refreshed the dry foods that were getting low. It seems like the one on the end by the livingroom is the one that they love the most because the bowl was empty! The rest were holding up pretty well. They also love their party mix.

So things are really great at home. We took the spare keys that you left for us because I really couldn’t get in the door tonight. I had to take down the screen and use the key from the inside to open the door. If any of your neighbors mention anything…..the crazy lady appearing to break in to your house was just me :) We’ll leave the keys on our last visit and just lock the door knob for you. Hope you’re having a blast in Hawaii!

Whew! Finally got the tracker up and running again, only problem is that it’s a day before you come back! I’m very sorry about that. We’ve put certain things in place i.e. virus protection, backing up…..to prevent this from happening again. What a nightmare!

Anyway, at home things are going wonderful! Callie of course always greets me at the door to get her daily Callie massage and everyone is eating great. No sign of the boys, although Mike said he saw Mackie one day in the livingroom as he came in. I guess he thought it was you! He ran right to the bedroom of course, but at least we know he’s doing just fine.

The litters are in good shape, the dry food topped off and the mail inside. I’ve done a bit of watering, but not much since you mentioned that your nice neighbors would be taking care of it.

Anyway, we’ll be there tomorrow morning to get things ready for your return. I want to make sure that you walk in the door and get to just relax with the crew. It’s wonderful to go away for a while, but always nice to come back home too. Thanks for the patience with the tracker. We really appreciate it!

So sorry that we didn’t write yesterday Aileen. We’ve had a busy week and today is actually Mike’s birthday so we’ve been trying to balance work and fun for him as well. Regardless, the cuties are all doing fabulous!

Callie of course always greets us when we come in the door. She’s such a little sweetie and just LOVES to be paid attention to. While I prepare their food she’s always rubbing around my legs and watching me get the chores done. Chloe ate about half of her food yesterday and today and all the others have been cleaning their plates for the most part. We’ve been topping off the dry food buffet, refreshing the waters (with the dental care in the pitcher) and watering front and back. I gave the inside violets and plants a little drink this morning as well.

The mail is in, the litters have been done and Callie and Chloe have been getting plenty of love from the two of us. Callie especially appreciated the extra time this morning from her 45 minute visit. Everything is quiet and pleasant at home so no worries. I hope you’re enjoying your time off! You certainly deserve it :)

Cali was waiting for me when I got in today. She was very happy with the company and rolled over to get her tummy rubbed. There was no sign of Chloe when I was on my way in but I brought out her food and left it on the table. Still no sign.
I got the gangs food ready and topped up the dry food. Cali ate all her food and then stretched out on the floor. I used the water in the containers to water the plants and filled them up again.
I did all the kitty litters and went to check on Chloe, she was out there eating so I gave her more time.
I came in a sat with Cali, she is so cool and friendly. We had a good time.
I went out for Chloe’s dish and said hello to her, she is a happy kitty too.
I am sorry to say there was no sign of the boys, maybe before you come back they might come out to say hello.
